Our maternity room is in our bedroom on the main floor of our house. We use a heat lamp to keep our puppies warm. The puppies stay in our room for approximately 3 to 3 1/2 weeks, until which they are moved to our "Puppy Room" on the main floor of our house.

At approximately 3 to 3 1/2 weeks of age, our puppies move out of our bedroom and into our puppy room. Our "puppy room" is our kitchen and in some cases, our laundry room. Our laundry room is off of our kitchen, on the main floor of our house.
